App Login (Email Verification)
FleetTAB uses email-based one-time password (OTP) authentication to verify your identity before granting access to the application. This is separate from the Wialon connection — it controls access to FleetTAB itself, not to Wialon.
How It Works
Rather than storing a password, FleetTAB sends a short-lived verification code to your work email each time you log in. You enter the code in the app to complete authentication. The code expires quickly and cannot be reused.
This approach eliminates password management, reduces the risk of credential theft, and requires no account setup beyond having access to your work email inbox.
Logging In
- Open FleetTAB in your browser.
- Enter your work email address and click Send Code (or equivalent).
- Check your inbox for a message from FleetTAB. The code typically arrives within 30 seconds.
- Enter the code in FleetTAB and click Verify.
- You are logged in.
If the code does not arrive within a minute, check your spam or junk folder. If it is still missing, use the Resend Code option on the login screen.
Each verification code is single-use and expires after a short window (typically a few minutes). If the code expires before you enter it, request a new one using the Resend Code option.
After Logging In
Once your email is verified, FleetTAB checks whether your account has a Wialon connection configured.
- First login: A setup modal appears prompting you to enter your Wialon API token. You must complete this step to access fleet data. See Wialon API Token for instructions.
- Subsequent logins: FleetTAB reconnects to Wialon automatically using your stored token. No additional steps are required.
Session Behavior
FleetTAB maintains your authenticated session across browser tabs and moderate session lengths. You will be asked to verify your email again if:
- Your session expires due to extended inactivity.
- You explicitly log out.
- You access FleetTAB from a new browser or device for the first time.
Access and Account Management
Access to FleetTAB is provisioned by your organization's administrator. If you cannot log in because your email address is not recognized, contact your FleetTAB administrator to have your account created.
Do not forward verification code emails to other people. Each code grants temporary access to your FleetTAB account and should be treated as a short-lived credential.
